Since the Phenom will run on AM2 will you (or do you) use an AM2 setup?
I already am on AM2 and plan to stay.
I was already planning to move to AM2.
I am moving to AM2 because it will support the Phenom.
I am waiting till the Phenom is out for a while but will consider it.
I am an AMD Fanboy.
I am an Intel Fanboy.
I am not considering an AM2 setup at all.

System monitoring is an important topic for a PC. With the worry about system temperatures, fan RPM, and voltages, is there any absolute monitoring system out there? This depends on who you ask. Some don't even trust the internal probes that the system reads from; true enthusiasts want as close to accurate as possible. What it all comes down to is what the end user likes and is comfortable with.

Some of you might have heard of Super-Flower, if you haven't you should have heard about their Fan Master (SF-609). The Fan Master set a new standard when it came out 2 years ago. They took a fan bus and pimped it out with alarms and an LCD screen. With the adjustment and monitoring combo it was an instant hit.

Now Super-Flower looks to follow the Fan Master with…..Drumroll please…. The Digi Master. The Digi Master is a separate system monitoring device that allows monitoring of up to 3 fans and 3 temp probes, but they didn't stop there. The display shows the activity of more items than Zennzzo can fry CPUs in a week. Let's take a look at what Super-Flower has to show off this time around.

Shipping & Package

The package was shipped via DHL all the way from Taiwan. The box was pieced together and not square. The Digi Master arrived with another review item that is pending, that is the only reason I will mention it now. Upon opening of the box I noticed the poor shipping practice from Super-Flower. Coming from over seas one would think to package like it was a baby traveling so far, then again these are review samples and not the final shipping method…..I hope. The Digi Master was in bubble wrap for some protection.

My first look at the Digi Master was surprising. It looked like they forgot the display. Until further inspection I noticed the mirrored film to conceal the display. Another idea that has been around the forums for years was the use of 2 way film and now it is being used in after market products. Before I open this up let's take a look at the spec sheet.
