PC Apex Poll

Since the Phenom will run on AM2 will you (or do you) use an AM2 setup?
I already am on AM2 and plan to stay.
I was already planning to move to AM2.
I am moving to AM2 because it will support the Phenom.
I am waiting till the Phenom is out for a while but will consider it.
I am an AMD Fanboy.
I am an Intel Fanboy.
I am not considering an AM2 setup at all.
I don't care as long as I can get my email.
Phenom-what? AM2 who?! Speak english man!

Intro

After receiving word that I’d be receiving a case that JUST hit the market, I was pretty damn excited to see what this puppy was going to look like. This case is currently sold exclusively through XPCases.com.

Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed with how “clean” this case looked. The “aluminum look” is still all the rage for a reason! I wasn’t too sure about the blue plastic on the front right at first, but it only took a couple seconds of looking at it to win me over, and decided this case is a sexy bitch.

I was also thrilled that it came with two optical and one floppy-drive drive covers (beige drives in a silver case have always looked like crap in my opinion). Case is very well designed, has expansion capabilities and provides opportunities for excellent air-flow and cooling.

Here are the shots of the case shamelessly stolen from XPCases.com.

Packaging

The box I received was handled with the care I’ve come to expect from UPS… but surprisingly, it was Fedex who smacked up this box like a mouthy hoe! Also, the bottom was about to fall out of it… makin’ me hope everything was okay! (the company put three pieces of tape on it… the box just got beat up!)

Thankfully, there was a crap-load of peanuts and another box besides! My case arrived mostly intact (there was a tiny crack in the glass, from the angle of the “wound”, I’m pretty sure the gouge in the side of the box was to blame… I don’t know what the playful boys and girls at Fedex were doing to this box, but DAYAM!)

It’s beginnin’ to feel a lot like Christmas!

Screw everything! Well,
the feet stick on… but otherwise!
