First let me start by thanking the Staff at BzBoyz for offering this product for review. Without great sponsors like them we couldn’t get these reviews for you. BzBoyz is a good representation of what online shopping should be. Great Service, Friendly Staff, and damn good prices. BzBoyz will do whatever it takes to make your order exactly what you wanted in a timely manner. They really do go the extra mile. There are so many places to buy online these days but only a handful are what I consider the top shelf vendors. BzBoyz is definitely one of my first choices to shop.
BzBoyz made a great decision to carry the Swiftech Cases and Coolers. Swiftech is by all means one of my absolute favorites. I’ve been loyal to their products for some time. I have spoken with Gabe Rouchon at Swiftech several times and something that has found me most perplexed is his attention to customer wants and needs as well as his extra detail to quality. Swiftech is a unique company in that Gabe not only develops these products but Gabe is an avid over clocker himself. (The Swiftech he's working on versus my last for a comparison!) Check out his latest overclock and 3Dmark score!! Swiftech is not just some big corporation trying to squeeze another dollar out of you. Swiftech doesn’t carry the largest line of products or the cheapest products. But Swiftech does carry the best products at the highest quality possible. This case review was sponsored by BzBoyz not Swiftech directly, so I am not just blowing up a sponsor here. I am telling it like I see it. Swiftech is a top-notch company that takes care of not only their Distribution channel but their customers as well. Customers like you and me; the every day Joe’s who spend cash for their product. With a level of quality that’s unsurpassed in the market Swiftech has become the Corvette of Sports cars. Big, Solid, Extreme Performance brought to the average Joe. Not like the foreign technology of experimental design, Swiftech sticks with what works and then adds a few thousand pounds of steroids to the mixture! That’s why we all love Swiftech. I read in a lot of reviews, complaints about Swiftech prices. You know there are two ways to consider that complaint. It can fairly be stated that their product isn’t as cheap as the competition. But you know that as soon as you modify the competition to work as good as the Swiftech you spent as much money as you would have just buying the Swiftech in the first place. Swiftech sells quality my friends, And quality sells, Not Price. I for one am glad they take the time to use quality workmanship, parts, and engineering. Not some thrown together run of the mill copycat design to take a few more dollars out of my pocket. No one puts more thought into the product design and implementation then Swiftech. With most companies you have hit and miss products, not here. All their products are a hit. These things are all-important and were the main reason I decided to use the Swiftech Quiet Power case on my own personal water-cooled case. Now let me get down off my soapbox and start telling you about this awesome case we are reviewing today.
This is my second case utilizing a water-cooled setup. As you know I decided to venture into the water-cooled community when I decided to go AMD. Not being one for building a water-cooled setup myself as time never permits it I decided to do the prefab stuff and leave the building of custom water-cooled to staff member and site founder Gary “Glitterkill” Mullins. He will be building and reviewing a home grown set up as soon as we can get one in the lab. Another reason I chose to use a prefab water kit as I really like the quality of the prefab stuff. The comfort in knowing it’s a proven setup. And Swiftech is no slacker in the community of cooling. Quite frankly, as a DIY kind of guy, I know that researching and building my own water-cooled case would have been more fun, and probably more personally rewarding. But sometimes you can't always find the time to get all that done. The Swiftech Quiet Power is a great alternative to the DIY approach and the Quiet Power can be acquired for anywhere between US$350 and $400. Very comparable however It's not cheap. You do seem to get what you pay for in this case. I will not go into the detail specs for the QP. This review will instead cover my installation experiences and the performance of the case. If you would like the lowdown on the case itself, check the Swiftech Quiet Power web page. Swiftech Q-Power Case.
