Since the Phenom will run on AM2 will you (or do you) use an AM2 setup?
I already am on AM2 and plan to stay.
I was already planning to move to AM2.
I am moving to AM2 because it will support the Phenom.
I am waiting till the Phenom is out for a while but will consider it.
I am an AMD Fanboy.
I am an Intel Fanboy.
I am not considering an AM2 setup at all.
I don't care as long as I can get my email.

Intro

There is no doubt that the founder and owner of mnpctech is a master modder and computer builder. Bill Owen's cases have been featured all over the web and in many popular magazines, so he stays pretty busy building custom rigs for his waiting list of customers. Yet, somehow he found the time to develop a new production case to follow up his very good SC195 production case; enter the Tsunami Ultra Quiet.

In many ways the Tsunami Ultra Quiet is like his SC195, only done with a lot more flair and a lot more good looks. As with everything that Bill does, the Tsunami Ultra Quiet is tweaked with an eye for detail and with performance in mind. Now let's look at what we get:

Package

As you see, the Tsunami Ultra Quiet started life as a ThermalTake Tsunami VA3000BNA, a very sweet case indeed. I've been wanting to test drive one of these since I've heard all sorts of people rave about it. The box has a good listing of the case features on the outside. Pulling the case out of the box I saw that it had front and back protection, but nothing to protect the sides from the accidental ski pole that invariably finds cases in shipment (the front bezel is facing up in the pics). However, this one arrived unscathed. The case was wrapped in plastic, then again with a cloth-like material to protect the paint. I was rather surprised when I picked it up after the UPS dude left it on my step, this case is light. Real light. Since it is an aluminum case, without a PSU it weighs in at only 13.2 lbs.

There are quite a few goodies Included with the case. You get the bay cover and shield that were removed for the Mitron fan controller (more on that in a bit), a bag of tool-free drive rails, a big bag-o'-screws, a couple pairs of keys for the side panel and front panel, Tsunami stickers in Silver and Black, an instruction manual for the case, an instruction manual for the fan controller, and a rag to wipe off any fingerprints. Trust me, the finish is so nice you will be using the rag.

So here's a shot of the case itself. I've liked the wave style front since CoolerMaster came out with it, and ThermalTake does it up real nice. Oh yeah, you probably noticed on the first picture at the top of the page that the paint isn't exactly stock on this mnpctech Tsunami Ultra Quiet...
