PC Apex Poll

Since the Phenom will run on AM2 will you (or do you) use an AM2 setup?
I already am on AM2 and plan to stay.
I was already planning to move to AM2.
I am moving to AM2 because it will support the Phenom.
I am waiting till the Phenom is out for a while but will consider it.
I am an AMD Fanboy.
I am an Intel Fanboy.
I am not considering an AM2 setup at all.
I don't care as long as I can get my email.
Phenom-what? AM2 who?! Speak english man!

Leave it to Cooler Master to bring server-class features to the standard PC case. With the increasing features of today’s technology getting cheaper, they are becoming widely available to everyday users. RAID is no longer a PC-elite technology. Everyone is worried about losing their data or don’t want to lose it again. Then again, some like to have all their data on the go due to the convenience and increasing storage of thumb drives.

Cooler Master has been on a winning streak with the overwhelming success of their Stacker series of cases, CM is looking to push the envelope even further with the feature-rich ITower 930. With that said, let’s clarify a few things here. The ITower is not a full tower case or a case that’s begging to be modded; but could be. Cooler Master likes to call this case the master of “Laconic”, while this would be true to say if you wanted a short and sweet description of this little gem. At first glance this case just looked like a BTX nock off but once the door was opened so were my eyes. Let us take a look at what Cooler Master brings to the table this time with the ITower 930.

Specs

Here are the specs on the Cooler Master ITower 930 case as taken from the Cooler Master website:

Following previous premium models, Cooler Master announces an all new product in 2006-- ITower 930. The tool-free user-friendliness and superior thermal perfor- mance are necessary factors for CM high quality model. Besides, ITower 930 has front HDD hot-swap function. Users can detect the HDD connecting status easily through SATA hot swappable back panel. It has excellent upgrade ability supporting EPS 230mm and mini-redundant power supply. More important, ITower 930 owns laconic , staid appearance design with aluminum Bezel.

Package

Cooler Master shipped direct to the doorstep, nothing new there with their review samples. The box has all the details clearly listed on each side.

Molded Styrofoam secures and protects the case until its release.

Lifting the case out of the box revealed that this was no aluminum chase. I wasn’t sure if a PSU was included it was so heavy. CM is often very giving with their review samples, this one just so happens to be loaded with features. This 30+ pound case is just that... all case.
